Almas Club

Alma Söderberg was invited in 2020 by the curators and directors of DrodeSera, a performing arts festival at Centrale Fies in Dro, to create a music program for the festival. The focus of Almas Club was on performativity and music. Listening to Sofia Jernberg, Kate NV, Tian Rotteveel, Charismatic Megafauna and Milkywhale ended the evening programs of the festival in different manners. A mix of musical expressions ranging from experimental to power pop but always with a sense of using the performative aspects of the concert event in a slightly different manner. In 2020 the Club couldn’t take place so instead Alma Söderberg invited the two artists Sukitoa o Namau and Stina Fors to make an exchange of videos, texts and sound snippets on a temporary webpage, a visceral yet fleeting archive.
